Lupa de Ouro Award has
fierce competition
Pfizer is reached by Roche and Nycomed;
Eurofarma moves up one position
“We need to preserve nature
and replace the resources we have been using. That´s why Grupemef
planted 35 trees in partnership with pharmexx Brazil that neutralized
all the CO2 emitted during Lupa de Ouro Award”.
The words below were stated by Grupemef
president, Sonia Orestes, during the award, considered the most
significant pharmaceutical industry award in Brazil to acknowledge
the talent of pharmaceutical marketing pros, to highlight the main
theme of the event: “Commitment and Responsibility”.
Right at the beginning Lupa de Ouro
had some news: a 3D video presentation about nature. Who went to
the event could use a pair of special 3D goggles and feel as if
they were walking into the forest and crossing the rivers.
Award – Nearly
1,500 executives went to Via Funchal on November 30 to see Lupa
de Ouro Award. The result was different from last year’s and
brought some surprises. Pfizer, the great winner of 2006 edition
with three awards, kept the same number of awards this edition but
it was reached by Roche and Nycomed.
In the second place, with two awards,
came Wyeth, Boehringer and Eurofarma, which moved up one position
in relation to last year. Medley, Apsen and Merck Serono ended up
in the third position.
Official inauguration
– During Lupa de Ouro 2007, the official inauguration of pharmexx
Brazil took place led by Cássio Rossetti. The announcement
was done by pharmexx general manager, Michael Schomaker.
