Mapping out, assessing and reviewing
"Reducing registration time of drugs in Brazil without harming sanitary safety is the aim of the contract between Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) and a Consulting business focused on results". Who says that is Márcia Turcato, Anvisa's chief adviser of Communication, Events and Ceremonies. According to Marcia, the company has already started its job at Anvisa aiming at mapping out, assessing and reviewing working processes.
Reinforcement of the team
The initiative, according to the chief adviser of Communication, aims to reduce deadlines for drugs registration in the country by reorganizing flows and teams. "Anvisa also invests on team expansion. This year the Agency has offered public tender for 314 new jobs", she adds.
List of priorities
Márcia says that the Agency announced new manufacturers can send to Anvisa the list of priorities to register their products. "There is a list of priorities that respects the first-come first-served basis. However, the industry may decide to change the order of their products if they understand the X might be analyzed before drug Y", she wraps up.
