Bidding: and what about the homeopathics?
"The allopathic industries provide remedies to the government through bidding, however, when it comes to homeopathics, besides counting on fewer industries, the norms used to register homeopathic remedies published in 2007 created a barrier for such medicine and consequently, the access to homeopathic remedies for the Brazilian citizen" states Maria Isabel de Almeida Prado, chief pharmacist at Boiron.

No side effects
The sanitary authorities need, according to the pharmacist, review "the homeopathic remedies registration requirements concerning labeling the products according to their dynamization (concentration)".

"The inner characteristic of homeopathy is exactly its low or maybe null sanitary risk. The physicists and pharmacists formation courses must be updated, because we´ve been living moments of quick results when it comes to learning and the application of what has been acquired. Specialization in homeopathy lasts around three years, including weekends, what partially justifies the absence of students in this kind of courses in Brazil", adds Maria Isabel.
