Management Rafting

Pharmexx Brazil organized a rafting with their contributors in Brotas (SP).  The aim of this action was to make the team closer and to flourish the spirit of leadership in the group.

 

 

Top Team Survey

A survey published in the last Top Team edition revealed that most executives are used to having vacation in January (40.54%), while 29.73% in December and 18.92% in July. February was chosen by only 10.81%.

 

Treatment for Leukemia 

 Food and Drug Administration, an agency of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, approved a new anticancer therapy by Novartis called Tasigna. According to the manufacturer, the product is recommended for patients who have an increased risk of death because they suffer from leukemia and are resistant or intolerant to the current treatment.

Eurofarma incremented the Photoderm Max with cellular Bioprotection. Adalgisa Muniz Klem, the product manager of Farma Unity, explains that, besides FPS 100 and UVA protection, the new formula stimulates the immune system of the skin and protects the DNA. “We, from Eurofarma, know that when it comes to skin care protection is never enough.” she said.

 

Prostate Hyperplasy

Sandoz launched in the Brazilian market the generic Finasterida 5mg, which is recommended for benign prostate hyperplasy (BPH). In Brazil, according to IMS Health data, the molecule moves around R$ 19.8 million and 460 thousand unities.

 

Cultural Action 1

Torrent do Brasil gathered psychiatrists and cardiologists for a special show of the play “Dom Quixote de Lugar Nenhum”, starred by Edson Celulari. According to Sergio Perelman, the marketing manager of the company, Torrent will increasingly prioritize cultural actions linked to the Brazilian theater.

 

Cultural Action 2

Solvay Indupa developed the “Projeto Curta Química e Natureza’ (Enjoy Chemistry and Nature Project), which included the presentation of six short duration films. They approached the topics “Culture, Environment and Society”. The videos were produced by 13 to16-year-old students.
