"Carbon Free" Sales Reps Pharmexx Brasil, a multinational company that enables sales reps, salespeople and promoters for the Healthcare and Well-being companies, received from Ecosfera 21, the “Forest Carbon” label due to the “Plant this Idea” program.   The program consists of compensating all CO2 emmitted by the company´s  sales teams throughout 2007 and 2008. According to Angélica Leone Rossetti, director of the Social Action department of pharmexx Brazil, the company is not only concerned about contributing to reforestation but also to making contributors aware of the importance of preserving natural resources still available on the planet, like water.

Easy to program

Innovatec, a company that resulted from a joint venture of the Laboratory Cristália and BioSensor, launches four new types of infusion pumps. According to  Innovatec, the SEP-10S PLUS, SP-125 PRO, SP-14S and NB-400 are easy to program, they have audio/visual alarms and rechargeable batteries.

 

New Options

Novartis enabled in the Brazilian market two new kinds of medicine for the treatment of diabetes 2: Galvus and Galvus Met Combi Pack. This is a good market as, according to the International Diabetes Federation, im 2025, the number of diabetes patients will reach nearly 333 million.

The Indian pharmaceuticals Zydus Cadila has recently announced their second international acquisition in 2007. Now the company acquired 100% of Nikkho do Brasil, which trades 22 products of 13 different brands.
