Carbon Free
Pharmexx Brasil, a multinational company specialized in managing and developing sales teams and promoters for the Healthcare and Well-being industry, will neutralize all the CO2 emmited by contributors and sales teams. At the moment the project will show the quantity of trees that must be planted.
Besides making contributors of the company and students from União Arte Cultural (Unarc/ a social project supported by pharmexx Brazil) aware of the importance of being environmentally friendly, the innitiative has been already successful. The students have planted trees in Marabá island, in Mogi das Cruzes (SP).
According to the social action director of pharmexx Brazil, Angélica Leone, from now on all the trainings at pharmexx Brazil will have a lecture on sustainable development aiming a making sales reps aware of the need of saving the planet.

New equipment
Medley has recently acquired a unique device: Dissolution with Optical fiber. According to the company, the device is used to outline the dissolution profile of the drug (active principle), one of the development phases of the product, so that it is possible to prove the equivalence of the product with the reference medicine besides evaluating the behavior of the formulation in vitro.
Educational campaign
Stiefel created an educational campaign involving their anti-dandruff shampoo. The action was taken at the points of sales and counted on training for clerks, delivery of information material on dandruff and samples of products.
Chronic Hepatitis B
Novartis launched Sebivo, a new option to treat chronic hepatitis B. According to the company, the new drug prevents the virus (HBV) to multiply, which minimizes the risks of infection like cirrhosis and liver cancer.
Contraceptive Pill
Bayer Schering Pharma launched in Brazil YAZ, the first oral low-dose contraceptive to treat the most severe symptoms of TPM (Pre-Menstrual Tension). Studies showed the efficacy of the drug to treat the physical and emotional symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
