Brands stands out
Hanes Brands, textile division of
Sara Lee, participated in the Meeting 30 years of Angiology and
Vascular Surgery Service of Beneficência Portuguesa hospital,
which took place at Mercury Hotel, in São Paulo in February.
Márcia Castelo Branco, public relations at Hanes Brands,
explains that during the event important lectures were delivered
by professors of Universidade de São Paulo and Hospital das
Clínicas. “It was a great opportunity for the professionals
to update their knowledge about Hanes Brands products.”, she
states.
New Ache presentation
Acheflan, leader in the prescription
market, may be found in aerosol presentation. According to Aché
Laboratories, the new product has been developed out of Cordia verbenacea
extract, a plant found in the Atlantic Forest.
Novartis starts 2007 high season
Novartis announced that had a profit
of US$ 7.2 billion in 2006, 17% more than the previous year. Sales
turnover of Pharma division, for instance, increased by 16%, reaching
R$ 1,14 billion. On the other hand, the investment in Research and
Development was around US$ 5.4 billion.
EMS bets on generics
EMS-Sigma Pharma group introduced
to the market the new Pentoxifilina SEM generic, a medicament that
helps tissue oxygenation.
