Pediatricians prefer to be detailed by reps on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. That’s what a survey done by Marketing Intelligence Department of Rossetti Mkt Brazil with 2,477 physicians all over São Paulo, from July 13 to August 11 2006, states. According to the survey, 14% physicians like to be detailed on Monday; 16% on Tuesday; 17% on Wednesday; 16% on Thursday and only 13% on Friday.
According to 57% of the surveyed people, the best time for the detailing is in the morning, whereas 43% prefer the afternoon. The survey also states that, for 40% physicians, Tuesday mornings and Wednesday mornings are the best periods to be detailed. The worst one would be Friday afternoon, as it only pleases 12% of the professionals.
The research carried out by the Rossetti Mk has the objective to increase the efficiency of the sales reps teams.
